Who handles your information
Shootless operates under the name Shootless in the United States. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@shootless.co. This policy covers the Shootless website, early-access applications, and product accounts.
What we collect and why
Early-access applications include your name, email, and optional brand or website. We use these details to review applications and contact you about access.
For product accounts, we store your name, email, protected password credentials, verification status, sessions, and account settings. We use these to authenticate you, keep accounts secure, and send verification, password-reset, billing, and service messages.
We process uploaded images and videos, prompts, references, generated results, projects, and generation settings to provide the service. We also record credit usage, job status, payment identifiers, subscription information, and storage usage. Our infrastructure processes technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for service operation, security, and troubleshooting.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the application, stores media, processes background jobs, and delivers account emails. Neon hosts our Postgres database. We send the inputs and settings needed for a generation to fal.ai and the model services it runs or connects to. Stripe processes payments and stores payment details; Shootless does not store your full card number.
These providers process information to deliver their services and may retain certain records under their own policies and legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use your private uploads to create public examples. We do not train our own models on your uploads. Processing by third-party models is subject to the applicable provider's terms; do not upload sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your content.
Access and international processing
Account files require authorization to access. We provide time-limited access to input files for generation and use private storage for account media. You decide whether to publish your downloaded results. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice.
How long we keep information
Account data is retained while your account is open. Files remain within your storage allowance during an active subscription and for 90 days after paid access ends. Files created without an active subscription are retained for 90 days. You may delete files earlier. Provider copies of generation inputs and outputs can follow different retention periods from your Shootless library.
Account deletion removes your account, workspace, and files from active systems. Limited payment, fraud-prevention, support, and legal records may need to remain. Backup copies and records held by our providers may expire on their own schedules. Early-access applicants can request deletion by email at any time.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential authentication cookies to keep you signed in. The workspace uses browser storage for preferences and recovery of unsaved changes. Work created in the earlier browser-only workspace stays on that device until you choose to import it. Shared devices may retain local data; sign out and clear browser storage when needed.
Your choices and rights
You can download original media from your library, manage billing, and delete your account in the app. Email hello@shootless.co to request access, a copy, correction, or deletion of other information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may verify your identity before responding. Your location may provide additional rights; we will handle requests under applicable law.
Shootless is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Updates
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes and notify account holders about material changes that affect how their information is used.
